This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your information when you access or use our eSports match-management platform, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable SPDI Rules.
2. Categories of Information We Collect
To facilitate fair matchmaking, tournament organization, anti-cheat detection, and skill-reward distribution, we collect the following limited categories of personal data:
- Account Identification Data: Full name, verified email address, mobile number (verified via secure OTP), and profile avatar preferences.
- Gaming Identifiers (IGNs): In-Game Names (IGN), Character IDs (UIDs), team name, and tournament performance data required for custom match room invites and leaderboard management.
- Transaction & Payout Information: Cashfree payment order IDs, timestamps, platform fee amounts, and payout QR code / UPI payment identifiers. Note: We do NOT store credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account net-banking passwords. All payment transactions are securely processed through our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant partner, Cashfree Payments India Private Limited.
- Technical & Log Data: IP address, device type, operating system, browser details, and access logs collected for security auditing, fraud prevention, and anti-cheat verification.
3. Purpose and Use of Collected Data
Your personal data is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes, including:
- Organizing, managing, and hosting competitive eSports skill contests.
- Verifying participant identities and enforcing tournament fair-play & anti-cheat rules.
- Processing platform fee payments and transferring skill rewards via Cashfree and verified payout channels.
- Sending essential match notifications (Room IDs, passwords, schedule updates, and leaderboard announcements).
- Preventing fraudulent registrations, duplicate accounts, and unauthorized access from restricted territories.
- Complying with applicable statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements under Indian law.
4. Payment Gateway Security & RBI Compliance
All financial payments for tournament registrations are routed through Cashfree Payments India Private Limited, an authorized payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Cashfree uses bank-grade 128-bit SSL encryption and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance to ensure your checkout process is completely secure.
5. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We respect your privacy and will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is shared only under the following limited conditions:
- Tournament Hosts & Referees: Your In-Game Name (IGN) and Character ID are made visible to verified tournament hosts for custom match room invites and slot allocation.
- Payment Processors: Necessary transaction data is shared securely with Cashfree Payments to verify payment status and process refunds/payouts.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authorities to uphold legal compliance or prevent illegal activities.
6. Data Protection, Storage & User Rights
We enforce industry-standard security protocols, including HTTPS/TLS encryption, secure server architecture, cryptographic token authentication, and restricted administrative access. Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing our support desk.
